Disasters are happening right & left, come August we
are expecting more typhoons, more floods, & some speculate
that an earthquake might lie in store for our seemingly helpless
nation,& let us not forget to mention the plight of our fellowmen
in war-torn Mindanao.
What do we need to do? Preparation is the
key. I would like to thank all the companies, members &
friends that have supported Metro Araneta for our upcoming relief
mission. But when I think about it, is it enough?
If consensus & our sponsors would allow it, I am would like
to channel our solicitations to projects for this cause.
I would also like to propose for all District
3780 clubs to unite for one district relief project, if not medical
missions, more aid could be given, if we all pull together.
A lot of people are counting on assistance, let us not fail them,
Now is the time for unity, cooperation & oneness, to give
a glimmer of hope for the hopeless & help towards the needy
in this time of crisis.
