The Rotary Club of Metro Araneta was Chartered on June 24, 1999, during the awards night and turn over ceremonies of our mother club the Rotary Club of Sta. Mesa Heights.
The RCMA charter members were inducted by outgoing District Governor Nemesio "Nemie" Peralta. PP Jojo Chupeco, also the DGSR to the RC Metro Araneta reported to the District Governor that all, meetings, and chartering procedures have been well-taken and approved by the majority of the Rotary Clubs in Disrict 3780 .
During the speech of our District Governor Nemie, He reiterated that membership growth and retention program is mostly to be the priority of the club. through this, he challenged us to double the programs instigated by our mother club through the auspices of IPP Oscar "OCA" Gankee and be a true Rotarian in all aspects of services.
